Uninstalling KAV 2013 Version

Some Windows users may want to uninstall the new Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 due to the "missing license" issue and/or more other known problems on the computer. To completely uninstall and remove Kaspersky's main application and its program traces, you need to refer to the following steps:

    • Logged on to your Windows as the administrator account, please save and close all your personal files and running apps.
    • Right click on Kaspersky's real-time tray in Taskbar and launch the Exit option at the bottom of the context menu.

    • Click start and enter All programs entry on the menu.
    • You would then see the following Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 folder; clicking on it, you then run the "Remove Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013" application in it.

    • Click Next > button on Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 (uninstall wizard) below.

    • To prevent any other potential software conflicting issue, you check the option for Kaspersky's "operating settings" and "iChecker data" and click Next >. By default, you cannot remove the "Quarantine files" relating to KAV 2013.

    • Click Remove button then.

    • "The (previously installed KAV 2013 main application) is being uninstalled. Please wait...".

    • Select Retry option from the "Error 1922" window.

    • If you just cannot proceed the express the expected uninstallation progress, please click Cancel and click Yes on Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2013 and then, click OK to exit Kaspersky's Setup Wizard.
