After a conference call with the National Weather Service this afternoon, it appears Butler County is still on track to receive another round of winter weather Sunday night through Tuesday. A Winter Storm Watch is currently in effect for our area as forecasters watch this system develop.

* Kansans urged to prepare for a second winter storm

A second winter storm is moving into Kansas Sunday bringing with it the potential for freezing rain, sleet, ice and 6-12 inches of snow for a large portion of the state. The new storm system follows a winter blast that moved through Kansas Wednesday through Friday dumping 10-14 inches of snow over much of the state.

Andover's two high schools sent 12 wrestlers to the state tournament Feb. 22-23 at Hartman Arena. Seven came home with medals, including two champions.
